Ankit began his yoga journey in India, where he completed a Master’s degree in Yoga, specialising in traditional Hatha Yoga and philosophy. He went on to train at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre under the guidance of Sharat, a direct student of B.K.S. Iyengar. Ankit’s approach weaves together dynamic and static practices, emphasising mindful movement, conscious breath, and inner awareness. His teaching aims to make yoga accessible to everyone, honouring its spiritual depth while embracing a modern, holistic understanding of wellbeing.

Gauri

Kuchelavritham is one of the most beloved stories in the Kathakali repertoire, drawn from the Mahabharata. It narrates the moving tale of friendship and devotion between Lord Krishna and His childhood companion Kuchela (Sudama). When the impoverished Kuchela visits Krishna at Dwaraka with a humble offering of rice flakes, the Lord receives him with immense love and honour, transforming his poverty into prosperity through divine grace.

Ananya

The Varnam   ( Mohiniyattam)  tells the story of Poothana, a complex character driven by a deep-seated desire for motherhood. In her past life as Ratnamala (sister of King Bali), she experienced a strong maternal instinct towards Vamanadeva, which was fulfilled in her next incarnation as Poothana with baby Krishna.  However, Poothana's intentions were tainted by deceit, and she attempted to harm Krishna with poisoned milk. Despite her malicious intentions, Krishna saw through her plot and granted her the ultimate gift of Moksha, liberating her soul and allowing her to experience the motherly connection she so desperately sought.
